Common questions before you start.
Do I need a server in my cafe? +
No. LANBear is fully cloud-hosted. The only thing installed locally is the kiosk client on each customer PC, and you manage everything else from a browser.
What happens if my internet goes down? +
Active sessions keep running on the client and re-sync once the connection is back. See the section above.
Can I switch from my current software? +
Yes. Depending on what you use today, we can usually bring over your member accounts, balances, and pricing, so nobody starts from a blank slate. Get in touch and we can walk you through what moves across.
Do you support consoles (PS5 / Xbox)? +
Yes. PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch stations are first-class devices. They show up on the floor view, sell time through the same POS, and bill exactly like a PC. The one difference: consoles have no agent to lock the screen, so when a prepaid session runs out the floor view flags the station for staff instead of logging the player out for you.
Is my data safe / GDPR? +
EU data is hosted in the EU, payments run through Paddle (the merchant of record, so VAT is handled correctly for your country), and a signed DPA is available on request.
What happens after the trial? +
